Cheryl Whitmore presently serves on the TSHMO Board as Recording Secretary. Cheryl has been a FCN for 7 years, serving St. Peter’s UCC – Highland as the Health Ministry Coordinator. This ministry includes hospital and post hospital visits, providing health education, leading a healthy life-style group, and Blood Pressure screenings. Cheryl also teaches CPR to community groups and this year participated in a mentoring program with an area high school. The majority of her nursing career was in ambulatory care; Cheryl retired from Deaconess Clinic as the Practice Administrator of Primary Care. FCN is a blessing in her life; serving the members and friends of her congregation as well as meeting new friends within the Evansville community gives my life meaning and purpose.
